Also called water polishing pad. Higher density, finer fibers. Catches smaller particles. Also grows nitrifying bacteria. Thick design, washable. Good filtration accuracy. But water flow resistance is a bit higher. Third, filter wool. Soft texture, fine fibers, white. Mainly for first stage physical filtration. Catches fish waste, uneaten food, and floating particles.
